**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Parts Driver to join our team. The Parts Driver will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to various locations. This role requires driving a company vehicle to transport parts efficiently and safely. When not delivering parts, this position will also include stocking parts and performing inventory checks throughout the parts department.
**Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport automotive parts to designated locations
- Load and unload parts from the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with the parts department and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and track inventory levels
- Accurately check in daily orders from vendors
- Perform routine inventory checks and notate discrepancies
- Perform general orgnaization and stocking tasks
**Skills:**
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or van driver is a plus
- Ability to pickup trucks, vans, or vehicles requiring heavy lifting
- Proficient in navigating routes efficiently
- Excellent counting skills and an ability to spot inaccuracies
- Ability to regulary pick up items ranging from 10-15 pounds, occasionally items 40-50 pounds
