Job Description :

This is a full-time position.

Salary range : $41,699 - $81,801 (BA Step 1-13)

$45,894 - $90,298 (MA Step 1-13)

$48,848 - $96,767 (6thYr Step 1- 12)

Competitive benefits, work day (7.25 hours), work year (185 days). See attached job description for more information.

Additional information is found in the Professional Agreement between the Thomaston Board of Education and the Thomaston Education Association (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2026).

The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922.

The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown.

Thomaston is a residential community that consists predominantly of single-family homes affordable across a broad range of income levels.

Residents are served by Thomaston's diversified economic base which includes many small and medium-sized manufacturers offering opportunities to its students through sound annual budgets, diverse course offerings, and internship / exploration programs.
