We are hiring for a Mortgage Processor for our Mortgage Processing Department! The Mortgage Processor performs loan reviews and prepares files for submission to the Underwriter for approval. This position may also assist Mortgage Loan Officers with clerical duties based on loan officer volume and may be a more clerical-intensive position depending on the Processor’s experience. For More Information, Please See The Attached Job Description.Minimum: High school degree or equivalent required. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Must have computer experience and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and able to learn different software applications as needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions and percentages. Training and progression may increase the analysis function of the role over time.
Preferred: One-two years of experience in a mortgage setting and basic knowledge of Fannie Mae (FNMA) guidelines and Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS).
