The Site Director oversees the BBH Outpatient Services at the assigned clinic site. This position provides supervision, oversight of programming, and utilization of evidence-based practices for members within the BBH department including training and supervision of the services and treatment team employees. The Site Director will work in collaboration with BBH administration, BBH directors and with the Chief Clinical Officer.

  • Develop programing with input from stakeholders, utilizing best practice models in serving children, families, and adults, and integrate them into the existing BH outpatient clinics and community programming.
  • Work in partnership with the EBF Quality Management team in evaluating programs and adjusting program delivery based on evaluation.
  • Oversee program operations, ensuring that they comply with AHCCCS, health plans, private insurance plans, and state contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Network with stakeholders and develop strategic partnerships to promote program growth.
  • Research and assist with grant and contract opportunities.
  • Analyze clinical data and create programming to promote growth within different populations and funding streams.
  • Host and/or engage in community outreach initiatives such as events for families or professionals, lunch and learns, resource fairs, career fairs, fundraising, and more.
  • Drive program growth and expansion initiatives through community outreach, networking, and business development.
  • Under the direction of the Administration team, this position is responsible for managing the program budget by monitoring expenses, hiring, and productivity.
  • Work under the direction of the EBF Administration team to ensure all program business operations, quality management practices, and compliance measures meet regulatory standards.
  • Assist supervisors in developing new clinical programming addressing gaps in the community.
  • Interview, hire, train, supervise, and support clinical staff.
  • Monitor regularly scheduled administrative, clinical, and reflective supervision, individually and in a group setting.
Requirements
  • Minimum Educational and Certification Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health related field (social work, counseling, psychology, education, public health).
  • Independently or associate licensed clinician in the State of Arizona or eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Arizona (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LAC, LBA, LISAC, LASAC)
  • Obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Obtain and maintain current Crisis Prevention certification.
  • Experience providing therapeutic services.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
Knowledge Of
  • Best practices in clinical interventions with children, families, and adults.
  • Best practices in Early Childhood Mental Health, Assessment, and Clinical Interventions.
  • Child development and human development across the life span.
  • Trauma informed care.
  • Principles and standards related to professional ethics within EBF and various disciplines (Social Work, Marriage, and Family Therapy, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, etc.).
  • Provision of behavioral health services in Arizona.
  • DSM V TR, DC 0-5 and relevant crosswalks.
  • Family systems theory, ecological systems theory, attachment theory, and development theory.
  • Community and state mental health resources and referral processes.
  • General organizational structure of Department of Child Safety (child welfare) and Behavioral Health systems in Arizona.
Skills In
  • Program development and quality management including research, planning and data collection.
  • Planning, organization, and coordination of multiple program development activities.
  • Differential diagnosis and clinical intervention for children, families, and adults.
  • Writing and reviewing clinical documentation.
  • Ability to support staff in wide variety of clinical needs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with community and state agencies.
  • Skills in personnel management and supervision.
  • Using basic management information systems.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Program development and quality management.
  • Analyzing budgets and revenue.
  • Creating outcome measures for covered services.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Experience providing services in educational settings preferred
