Texas Behavioral Health (TBH) is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Psychometrist to support a rapidly growing practice in the Greater Houston area. TBH provides comprehensive care that includes psychopharmacological interventions, therapy, telehealth, TMS, and assessment services in six clinic locations.
Job Overview:
The technician will administer and score general psychological and neuropsychological tests to patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan. The technician should be comfortable working with all age ranges. Those with expertise working with specialized populations (i.e. pediatric, geriatric) are also encouraged to apply. Technicians will work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, counselors, and licensed psychological associates.
Technicians will also be responsible for administrative tasks, including managing patient EHR files, preparing data summary tables and behavioral observation records, providing information about the testing and assessment program for inquiring patients, contacting patients for scheduling and reminder calls, managing all testing referrals, and managing inventory and test materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work
- One year of full-time experience in psychological and/or neuropsychological testing (administration and scoring)
- Coursework in psychological assessment and testing
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Google Documents
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
Preferred:
- Certified by Board of Psychometrists
- Coursework in neuropsychological assessment and testing

Salary: $14.50 to $19.50 /hour
