Client is seeking Lean Six Sigma Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations Engineers to re-
engineer supply chain functions. Must be an expert in multiple disciplines, including ERP
functionality, procurement, production planning, BOM and/or configuration management, shop
floor scheduling, forecasting, routings, consumption, transactions, inventory management,
distribution, supplier management, capacity planning, warehousing, and logistics.
This role does require 60u% travel M-F to the client sites. Flights leave Sunday nights and return Fridays around noon. All expenses covered. Candidates must have manufacturing or plant floor experience.
Previous Lean and pull system implementation required in a manufacturing
environment (VSM, Heijunka Level Loading, Pull Systems). The purpose of
implementing a pull system is to build products based on actual demand and not on
forecasts. By doing so, your company can focus on eliminating waste activities in the
production process. As a result, you'll be able to optimize your resources and reduce the
possibility of overstocking.
Significant experience in developing PFEP for both make-to-stock and make-to-order
environments.
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies preferred, SQL and Minitab proficiency
required; excellent data analysis and statistical skills
Guide our clients through the order-to-cash value stream that connects people, process
and technology, as well as constraint resolution, conflict management, skills
enhancement, organizational development, metrics and performance results, coaching,
mentoring, and behavioral change.
Capture/Clarify/Align the strategic business objectives of our clients by creating a 3- to 5-
year deployment plan that will quantify our clients’ current state and create a roadmap to
address gaps where objectives are not being achieved.
Re-engineer business processes and implement changes as necessary to achieve
operational results via extensive data analysis, Kaizens, and leadership workshops.
Sustain improvements through Lean system implementation, including visual
management, layered standard work, audits, and daily management systems.
Interact/Sell at all levels of the organization, especially with senior
management/executives.
Additional Qualifications:
BS, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean certifications required with 3 to 5 years of experience in a
Black Belt role, Master Blackbelt preferred
Minimum 15 years of supply chain operations in a manufacturing setting with experience
throughout the entire change process
Experience with ITAF/TS16949 preferred
APICS certification strongly preferred
Hands-on ERP experience; Oracle/SAP is a plus
Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus
Strong business acumen, financial analysis and client relationship skills
