Evening (United States of America)Tewksbury Treatment Center is a 32 bed detoxification program dedicated to helping men and women by providing 24 hour nursing care to monitor an individual’s withdrawal from alcohol and / or other drugs and alleviate symptoms.

Services include individual case management and group treatment services focused on assisting the client with accessing step-down levels of care.

The Recovery Specialist’s Responsibilities Are :

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being checks
• Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
