Youth Employment Program Coordinator

As a Youth Employment Program Coordinator , you will play a crucial role in connecting young adults with temporary paid employment opportunities through the

Summer Earn and Learn (SEAL)

program. You'll be the bridge between employers, local workforce staff, participants, and vocational rehabilitation staff, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all involved.

What You'll Do

• Partner with local businesses to create summer employment opportunities for young adults.
• Facilitate the placement process by effectively communicating with employers, staff, participants, and vocational rehabilitation personnel.
• Manage paperwork, ensuring timesheets are submitted, reviewed, and processed for timely payment.
• Travel to job sites to collect timesheets and conduct occasional monitoring (own transportation required).
• Maintain accurate data and records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
• Clear MVR and background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly rate of

$19.00

per hour.

Temporary position (4 months) with Monday-Friday schedule (8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM).
