Athena Specialty Group Nurse Practitioners in Temple/Killeen, Texas and surrounding areas! Pay from $120k-$140K with RVU bonus!!

Athena Specialty Group is a fast growing wound care company looking for qualified Nurse Practitioners to join our team. We are a mobile provider group focused on providing specialized wound care to patients with poorly healing chronic wounds. We are seeking providers who are energetic, able to work autonomously, and in a team environment to join our team. Training programs available for the right candidate.

Qualifications Include:

  • Prior primary care/internal medicine/urgent care or wound care experience a plus. Prefer 1 year experience
  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ACNP) Masters degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Prefer previous hospital critical care experience in the ER or ICU
  • Reviews medical histories, symptoms with the development of a comprehensive treatment plan
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Provides timely and accurate documentation, records, and orders
  • Ability to prescribe medications when clinically indicated
  • May provide telehealth or virtual visits based on state laws
  • Must be a self starter and able to work independently, and with a team
  • Must have excellent communication skills, customer service skills
  • Compassionate bedside manner
  • This position requires travel to the home setting. Mileage reimbursement is provided, fleet cars may be available to W2 employees after 90 days.
  • Option to round in SNF/Rehab when available
  • Full benefits package available to W2 employees
  • Training available for qualified candidates
