Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role in the future. This could also be seen as an internship opportunity for someone who has significant experience with financial planning software. The Paraplanner will assist financial advisors in providing financial planning services to clients. This role involves conducting research, preparing financial reports, and assisting advisors with their client interactions.
Duties:
- Prepare financial plans and reports for clients.
- Collaborate with financial advisors to provide comprehensive financial advice.
- Maintain client records and update financial information as needed.
- Transition existing financial plans to new financial planning software
Skills:
- Proficiency in financial planning software, including Money.
- Strong knowledge of cash management principles.
- Familiarity with research methods and tools.
- Understanding of wills, trusts, and estate law.
- Ability to perform financial analysis and interpret data.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and implications on financial planning.
- Understanding of portfolio management strategies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
