Job Overview:
Join our team as a Pest Control Technician and help protect our customers' homes and businesses from pests. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting premises, performing pest treatments, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Conduct inspections to identify pest problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Apply pesticides to eliminate pests following safety guidelines
- Install pest control measures such as traps and barriers
- Communicate with customers to explain services and provide recommendations for pest prevention
- Drive to various locations to service clients
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for pest control applications
- Utilize knowledge of landscape and lawn care practices in pest control efforts
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pest control or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Strong sales skills to upsell services and products
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn about pests, their habits, and effective control methods
