Position: Mechanical Engineer
Reporting to: Equipment Engineering Manager
Description:
Our client is a well-established, global leader in the design, development and construction of blow molding equipment, dies and processing systems.We are looking to add an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to our growing team to help advance development of our product line, systems and applications.On a daily basis, the successful candidate will support engineering and development of machine components, systems and assemblies related to polymer processing and manufacturing equipment.Qualified candidates will possess strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, a high degree of mechanical acumen, personal discipline and a solid understanding of the design release process.

Expectations Include:
·Providing technical input to optimize electro-mechanical systems for safety, durability, reliability and cost
Preferred Attributes:
·Experience with FEA simulation tools related to product design and/or electro-mechanical systems
·Experience performing kinematic studies and motion simulation
·Experience performing tolerance stacks and analyzing results
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products
·Familiarity with program management, time management, planning and scheduling
·Familiarity with Quality Management systems (ISO-9001, TS-16949, etc)
·Experience with GD&T and component inspection methodology
