What You'll Do As An Ag Diesel Tech
- Diagnose and recommend service and repair actions for agricultural, construction, and commercial lawn equipment
- Show and explain to service writers and/or customers what and why a component failed and what the repair process looks like
- Assist service writers with creating repair quotes based on extensiveness of the repairs needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance service for agricultural, construction, and commercial lawn equipment
- Maintain a presentable and safe work environment
- Hands on knowledge of farm, construction, and commercial lawn equipment
- Prior experience in a dealership service center a plus
- Experience with Tractors, Combines, Earth Movers, Skid Steers, Riding Mowers, etc.
- Previous experience with Case IH and New Holland products a big plus
- 2-3 years as a Diesel Service Tech
- Diesel Tech training in either a formal or on-the-job environment
- Case IH Certification preferred
