Quality Control Technician - Taylor - All Shifts - $20 to $22 Per Hour
What We Do:
Bonding, Sealing and Surface Treatments Manufacturing for the Automotive Industry and other Industries
Job Responsibilities:
Perform standard quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to defined specifications, including testing Visual and Physical Testing of Viscosity and Adhesion
Calculate and Report Test Results
Record Test Data into SAP
File and Maintain the Retained Samples; Dispose of Old Retained Samples
Maintain Lab Equipment in proper working order and Perform Equipment Calibrations
Review, Write and Ensure the Accuracy of QC Methods
Participate in Customer and Regulatory Audits
Professional Characteristics:
Will Train, but the Ideal Candidate has the following:
1 - 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control Testing Environment
Associates degree, BS in Chemistry is a Big Bonus, but not required
Technically adept in Wet Chemistry, Analytical Methods, and Sophisticated Technologies
Proven Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills in Laboratory Testing and Equipment
Proficient with Gas Chromatography

Our Candidate will start on the First or Second Shift to Train, but once Trained and capable of working Independently, our Candidate will be assigned to the Third Shift.
Shift Schedule and Hours: (MUST Be Flexible and Able To Work ALL Three Shifts, As Required & Directed)
Monday through Friday, Frequent Saturdays and Occasional Sundays.
1st Shift: 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday
2nd Shift: 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday
3rd Shift: 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday thru Thursday
The first 40 hours per week are paid at Straight Time.
Over 40 hours worked, per week, is paid at Overtime.
All hours worked on Sundays and Holidays are paid at Double Time.
Pre-Hire Screening:
10-Panel Drug Screen Including THC
Enhanced Nationwide & NSOPW
(No Violent Crime Felony Convictions or Crimes against Women and/or Children)
