The All Star Agency LLC is Hiring an Event Staff (FT) Near Tarrytown, NY
GENERAL EVENT STAFF responsibilities include but are not limited to: Demonstrating genuine hospitality and setting the stage for an exceptional event experience by making every single guest feel welcome upon event entrance. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
GENERAL EVENT STAFF ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
Assist the Events and Entertainment department in the execution of all elements in the Event experience and all-day as needed throughout the event
Keep all areas clean to avoid hindering operations
Setup and Teardown as needed, prop movement as needed
Greet and meet guests- while maintaining awareness of the atmosphere and lines. Helping guests and always being personable, and welcoming
Work as a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible to ensure that operations are always as efficient as possible
GENERAL EVENT STAFF QUALIFICATIONS:
To arrive at work for scheduled shifts and be punctual, always following company absence policy
To provide a speedy, efficient, and professional level of service at all times
To treat company property with due care and attention
Detail-oriented and organized a must for this job
To be courteous and responsive to any guest’s request
Hourly plus gratuity
GENERAL EVENT STAFF PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Ability to stand and walk on sometimes slippery surfaces for extended periods
Ability to twist, turn, push, pull, and reach down, forward, and overhead repetitively; Kneel, squat, stoop, and crouch frequently
GENERAL EVENT STAFF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules
Good organizational skills
The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
Read and write English
