Overview:

Join our team as a Gallery Assistant and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of textile art and culture. As a key member of our gallery, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and ensuring a seamless experience for visitors.

Duties:
- Greet and engage with gallery visitors, providing information about the weavings, weavers and culture.
- Assist in inventory management and handling
- Contribute to social media content creation and online promotion.

Requirements:

-Physically able to lift and show heavy weavings
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Dependable and reliable
- Light cleaning during and/or after shift
- Previous experience in a gallery or arts-related environment is a plus
