Job Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings, possess knowledge of medical terminology, and demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital environment and provide critical care services to patients.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Assist pharmacists in filling medication orders for inpatient and outpatient services
- Utilize IV infusion skills for preparing IV medications
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, locating items, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and laws

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience with aseptic technique
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations in an acute care setting
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment
- Strong patient care skills
- Familiarity with inhalation medications
- Experience with IV infusion procedures

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.92 - $21.17 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
