Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Fitness Instructor to join our team at The Rock Tampa.

The Rock Tampa, was launched in 2023, and our mission is to provide youth with programs that equip them with solid foundations for lifelong fitness and wellness. Our classes support movers as young as 20 months old because a life vitality-filled starts early!

The ideal candidate will have expertise in various fitness disciplines, youth focus is a plus, and a strong desire to help the next generation through nurturing physical skills, igniting a passion for movement, and instilling vital values like discipline, perseverance, and teamwork in our members, our classes support children to build limitless confidence and physical strength to run after their biggest dreams.

Responsibilities:

- Lead youth fitness classes in disciplines as provided and structured by The Rock.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to clients on fitness and sports choices
- Develop personalized group programming for classes based on their age, and theme for The Rock within that month/cycle.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout area
- Promote fitness programs and services to attract new clients
- Stay current on industry trends and continuously expand knowledge in fitness-related areas

Qualifications:

- Certification in one of the following national Fitness Accreditations: NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, or physical education certification. (If your accreditation is not listed here, please still apply and submit it along with your application.)
- More than 1 year of experience in the fitness industry, youth-focused is a plus
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective exercise routines for the youth.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate individuals of all fitness levels

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
