Investment AssociateWe are looking to add a driven, team-oriented Investment Associate to our Atlanta office. This individual will grow their knowledge of our business and practices by supporting a team of Advisors, ultimately advancing into an Investment Advisor position, and managing their own portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities

• Keep current with financial planning issues and subsequent effects on clients
• Coordinate preparation of all financial plans for new and existing clients
• Build investment planning recommendation presentations
• Open, transfer and close customer accounts and maintain appropriate account records
• Stay current with new investment products and market trends

Skills & Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in the Financial Services industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance
• Committed to obtaining the Series 65 within six months of joining, if not already licensed
• Committed to working toward a CFP® within 3 years of joining, if not already certified
• Exposure to tools and technology related to investing, financial planning, and portfolio analysis (i.e. eMoney, Black Diamond, Schwab, Fidelity)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Exhibits the Capital Investment Advisors five core values in everything they do
