I-2-I Solutions Inc. is currently conducting a comprehensive search for a vendor capable of providing Group Exercise Instructor / Manager in Short Fitness Center, and Pavilion Center in Tampa, FL 33621. We require 15 classes per week, each class will last 50-60 minutes.
Classes will be held at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB) Short Fitness Center, Bldg. 303 and Fitness Pavilion/Track, 8115 Cypress Stand St, MacDill AFB, FL 33621. The candidate shall perform to the standards set forth in this PWS.
Qualifications :
The candidate must have appropriate, current and valid professional certifications to perform the services in this contract which include: current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with automated external defibrillator (AED) and first aid certificate. candidate and their instructors must also have and maintain certifications for teaching group exercise classes which include: low impact, beginner step, intermediate step, advanced step, multi-step, step-n-sculpt, step/lo combo, cycling, yoga, body toning conditioning, kickboxing, Body Pump®, Pilates, P90x, aerobic slide, TRX Suspension, pre-postnatal pregnancy, Turbo- kick, Pilates, Zumba and/or any new trends in fitness classes. Any combination of these classes may or may not be offered. In accordance with (IAW) DAFI 34-114 para 3.4.6.1, instructors' must have a primary certification from an accredited health/fitness organization or a certification from a commercial/industry health/fitness organization approved by the Service HQ in the specific physical activity program in which they instruct. (attch 1). Individuals', whose certification required a written exam but no practical examination, must have at least six months consecutive work experience in addition to the certifications. The weekly class variety must include cycle, step, core, Pilates, Turbokick, circuit, yoga, strength and stretch.
Requirements :
1. A class is defined as the duration of class plus arrival at least ten minutes before the start time of any class to set up and remain ten minutes after the conclusion of any class for clean-up of the classroom, customer questions and answers.
2. candidate shall ensure the classroom in which services are performed is cleaned up, equipment is wiped down to include mats, and all items accounted for before leaving the worksite.
3. GENERAL. The logging of services and expectations of care for facilities are as follows:
4.. PROPERTY/FACILITIES. The government will provide space in Bldg. 303 for the performance of candidate services. Use of another facility must be approved in advance by the Fitness Center Director or his/her appointee.
5.. EQUIPMENT. The government will furnish all steps, mats, exer-tubes, weights, and other equipment deemed necessary by the Fitness Center Director as needed to conduct classes as well as publicity for classes (such as class schedules and flyers) and special events. The government will supply an electronic stereo system. All equipment must remain in the Grp Ex Room and is for class use only. Contract instructors are required to supply music and headset, microphones, and their batteries.
6. Utilities. All necessary electricity utilities will be provided at place of performance.
7.. Security, Police, and Fire Protection. Emergency services are provided through the base by calling Security Forces 911, Fire 911
8.. Emergency Medical Service. The government will provide emergency medical treatment and emergency patient transportation service for candidate personnel. The candidate shall reimburse the government for the cost of medical treatment and patient transportation service at the current in-patient or out-patient treatment rates established by the servicing Air Force Medical Clinic.
9. Forms and Publications. Government publications and forms required in the performance of this contract shall be made available to the candidate.
