Tamarac Rehabilitation and Health Care Center -
Perform a variety of dietary related functions designed to produce three (3) healthy meals daily, in a safe and clean surrounding, according to government regulations.
Specific Duties :
- Assist in setting up trays and serving carts.
- Packs and pushes serving carts to units.
- Deliver trays to various resident dining rooms.
- Assist dishwasher in preparing dishes and utensils for washing.
- Washes dishes / pots
- Store clean dishes / pots and utensils properly.
- Prepare coffee / drinks as directed.
- Maintain clean and sanitary work area by :
- Daily cleaning of all equipment and surfaces
- Return all items to proper storage areas
- Clean spills immediately
9. Assist in preliminary preparation of foods as directed.
10. Perform other selected duties as assigned.
Education and Experience :
- Able to read, write and carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Previous experience desirable but not necessary.
- Ability to lift and push heavy objects and stand for an extended period of time.
