Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunicator to join our team. The Telecommunicator will be responsible for handling emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching personnel, and providing assistance to callers.

Duties:

- Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls promptly

- Gather essential information from callers

- Dispatch appropriate personnel to the scene

- Monitor and track the status of ongoing incidents

- Utilize phone systems and specialized software for communication and data entry

- Transcribe detailed information accurately

- Analyze situations quickly and provide appropriate responses

- Conduct phone triage to assess urgency of situations

- Assist in GIS mapping for accurate location identification

Requirements:

- Ability to type efficiently and accurately

- Strong negotiation skills to handle challenging situations effectively

- High School diploma or GED

- 18 years or older

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
