Title: Application Development Analyst

Work Mode: On-site

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Responsibilities and Requirements:

· Maintain, enhance, and support agency business applications.

· Contribute to program requirements and specifications documentation.

· Research and document program user requirements.

· Code software programs and applications per specifications.

· Assist in developing and maintaining user manuals.

· Collaborate with team members to resolve software-related issues.

· Mentor and guide junior programmers.

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

· 7 years' Oracle database experience, including complex queries and PL/SQL.

· 5 years' Oracle Forms application development.

· 3 years' JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, NodeJS, React, or jQuery).

· 3 years' full-stack development experience.

· 3 years' PHP development, preferably CodeIgniter.

· Experience with Bootstrap, Git, Jenkins, and relational database designs.

· Knowledge of object-oriented design, ISDM, UML, and database security.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Preferred:

· Oracle certification(s).

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban).

· Experience with Docker, GIS applications, and RESTful web services.

· Understanding of environmental regulatory processes and DEP's technical environment.
