**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care in a veterinary setting. **Responsibilities:** - Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures - Handle and restrain animals during treatment - Perform laboratory procedures such as blood draws and urinalysis - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic - Provide animal husbandry care including feeding, grooming, and exercising - Administer medications under veterinary supervision - Monitor and record vital signs of animals - Assist with animal catheterization when necessary **Requirements:** - Prior experience in a veterinary setting or relevant animal care experience - Knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and animal handling techniques - Familiarity with laboratory procedures and animal husbandry practices - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team - Veterinary critical care knowledge is a plus - Experience with pet sitting or pet grooming is advantageous Join our team as a Veterinary Assistant to contribute to the health and well-being of our furry patients while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
