If so, DEA's Tacoma, WA office is looking for a Survey Instrument Person to join our growing team. The position responsibilities will be diverse and will include working as a junior member of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. You will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with DEA staff and clients on projects. Involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying and filing of this data. Work may include preparation of survey drawings using AutoCAD and other design software. As a crewmember you are responsible to evaluate the safety of a site before you perform the work. You are responsible to make sure that you and the other crewmembers follow DEA safety policy and use the proper personal protection equipment required.
