Insight Global is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join a customer in Trenton, NJ. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products to patients. This position is based in a hospital setting, where you will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications. The shift starts on a Wednesday-Tuesday schedule. During the weekdays, it is 9p-7a, and on weekends, 7p-7a - 7 days on, 7 days off. Training will take place during the day for 4 weeks from 7-3:30.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications
• Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy
• Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique, including IV infusions
• Perform calculations for medication dosages
• Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Registered with the NJ Board of Pharmacy
• CPHT Certified
• Ideally 1 year of experience, but they would consider a candidate with just the cert and BOP

Shift/Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9pm - 7am
• Weekends: 7pm-7am
• 7 days on, 7 days off

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
