Job Title: Utility Program Manager
Position Overview: The Utility Program Manager is a senior role within the organization, responsible for leading and managing highly complex and strategic projects. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to oversee and deliver large-scale initiatives on time and within budget while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Project Leadership:
  • Develop and execute strategies for managing and delivering large, complex projects that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the planning, initiation, execution, and closure of high-impact projects.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning roles and responsibilities while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and project success.
  • Project Governance:
  • Establish and implement project governance structures and frameworks, including project charters, steering committees, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to governance standards and project management methodologies.
  • Risk Management and Mitigation:
  • Identify, analyze, and manage complex risks and issues that could impact project success.
  • Develop comprehensive risk management strategies and ensure risk mitigation plans are in place.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Define and enforce quality standards and benchmarks to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes and take corrective actions as required.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, clients, and external partners.
  • Communicate project progress and provide regular updates to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage project budgets, including resource allocation and cost control, to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.
  • Forecast and manage financial aspects of projects effectively.
  • Change Management and Innovation:
  • Proactively identify and evaluate changes to project scope, schedule, or budget, and implement change control processes.
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Closure and Evaluation:
  • Lead project closure activities, including client acceptance, post-implementation reviews, and documentation of lessons learned.
  • Conduct project evaluations to identify successes, areas for improvement, and best practices for future initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, project management) is typically required. A master's degree is often preferred.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is strongly recommended.
  • Extensive experience as a project manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing large and complex projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $90,000 Annually

Physical Requirements
Stamina and Energy: Ability to work long hours, especially during project peaks or crises.
Basic Office Physicality: Proficiency in using office equipment (computers, printers, etc.) and handling office tasks.
Travel Capability: Willingness and ability to travel if projects require on-site management.
