Our ongoing expansion has led to an immediate requirement for a Senior Electrical Engineer at our Syosset, New York Office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service.
• Conduct electrical system analysis and calculations.
• Design electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load.
• Design fire alarm systems and low voltage systems.
• Arrange service room layout, coordinate utility conduits, grounding, and lighting protection.
• Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports.
• Conduct electrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists.
• Utilize engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (such as Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of relevant design experience.
• PE License in New York required.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Capability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and proactive collaboration during the design and construction process.

Compensation: Minimum $100,000; Maximum: $180,000. The provided salary range reflects the compensation our firm is willing to offer for the advertised position at this time. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications, years of experience, and location.
