WORTH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT is Hiring a Technology Specialist Near Sylvester, GA

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the operation and repair of computer hardware and software
FUNCTION AND SCOPE: The Technology Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to administrators, staff and students by maintaining all computer software, hardware, network equipment and peripherals.
REPORTS TO: Technology Director
Performance Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
  • Troubleshooting problems with mobile devices and computer hardware.
  • Troubleshooting problems with computer software.
  • Troubleshooting problems with Interactive panels.
  • Troubleshooting problems with LCD projectors.
  • Troubleshooting problems with IP cameras.
  • Installation of network hardware and cabling.
  • Maintains the security and integrity of the network.
  • Works cooperatively with fellow technology staff to complete district initiatives.
  • Utilize Technology Work Order system to efficiently perform job tasks.
  • Ensures that software programs work appropriately.
  • Performs additional duties as designated by the Technology Director
  • Clean filters on LCD projectors.
  • Clean computer hardware.
  • Organize Chromebooks for school year.
  • Set up and configure computer stations for school year.
  • Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary based on board approved salary.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Technology Director.
