Job Description

A growing health services organization in Sykesville, MD is seeking an ambitious Payroll Analyst

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave and nontaxable wages
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collection and analyzing information
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years of payroll experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel
