Riverstone Placement Partners is Hiring an Electronics Assembler (2nd Shift) Near Suwanee, GA

Job Purpose
Perform light mechanical assembly work in a work station or production area to build cabinets, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and kits in accordance with basic to complex engineering drawings, bills of material, work orders, pick sheets, and work instructions.
As a member of the team, you will conduct business according to the details of your job description and the employee manual, with a commitment to continuous improvement and respect for people.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Read basic to complex engineering drawings, blueprints/specifications, flat layouts, and work instructions to determine materials and methods needed to complete assigned assembly work.
  • Perform assembly work in various cells or areas as directed, which may include the following.
  • Fitting parts together using hand tools, power tools, pliers, wrenches, measuring devices, pneumatic screwdrivers and drills, and adhesives.
  • Installing wires and cables according to specifications.
  • Using meters and equipment to test and/or troubleshoot completed parts and cabinets.
  • Move parts, assemblies, and materials to and from various work areas in production facility.
  • Conduct testing/rework on completed parts or cabinets.
  • Ensure all workmanship meets or exceeds company’s quality standards and is completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions.
  • Perform redline activities for bill of materials and Work Instructions.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly preferred.
General Job Requirements
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
  • This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
  • Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
