Astria Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! This position will be 12-hour day shifts in the Family Birthing Center.

What you get to do every day!

As the Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for nursing processing in the management and care of patients (mother and newborn), during the final stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will provide individualized care to the patient, family and caregivers and is competent and knowledgeable to provide care to the patient population served. You will:

  • Provides information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women and their newborns.
  • Uses appropriate equipment to monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, and uterine activity during labor and delivery.
  • Assists providers in delivering newborns.
  • Administers medications related to labor, delivery, and the care of newborns.
  • Provides guidance to new mothers on all aspects of recovery and newborn care.
  • Performs tests necessary in the care of the newborn.
  • Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries,
  • Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.

What you bring to the role:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN Washington State License
  • At least 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum Care.
  • Current BLS, ALS, and NRP certification.
  • Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications required within 6 months of hire.
  • Oral and written fluency in the English language.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. This position is associated with a union contract.
