ROLE : Transport materials to our various customers in a safe and timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality, service, and support.

HOURS : Full-time, 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Weekends off and home daily.

WAGE : $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain work records, logs, and time sheets.
• Perform pre & post-trip inspections.
• Convey loads to their destination in a safe and timely manner.
• Inspect material securing equipment such as cables, chains, binders, and straps and inform supervisor of any defects in need of attention.
• Secure all materials properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulation
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and coordinate activities of workers helping to load and unload.
• Wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment while on all job sites.
• Operate in a team atmosphere and assist supervisor and co-workers in the performance of duties.

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

• Class A CDL, with ability to provide a good clean driving abstract
• Current & valid medical card
• Understanding of all DOT driving laws and regulations
• Prior sit-down forklift operation experience
• bility to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds
• Able to participate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds and maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds
