Job DescriptionPosition Title: Financial Analyst
Reports to: EVP, Wealth
Department: Wealth
Location: 86 Summit Ave, Ste 303, Summit, NJ 07901; in-office position
Classification: Full-time; Exempt
Summary / Job Objective: Simplicity Wealth is seeking to add a leader to establish a billing team that will support our base independent financial advisors affiliated with our platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a thorough analysis of our current billing process and work with our leadership team develop a streamlined structure and process that can support our business at scale. She or he will work closely with senior executives of Simplicity Wealth to develop and manage the monthly billing service for a larger number of affiliated independent financial advisors. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, self-driven, service-oriented team player capable of working independently and/or managing a team of analysts.
Essential Job Functions: Critical factors for success will include professionalism, persuasive communication, ability to overcome objections and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment while still demonstrating excellence in critical thinking and attention to detail. Candidates with experience billing client accounts in Orion would be a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess our current process and identify opportunities to improve both timing and accuracy of monthly client billing process
  • Maintain database of affiliated advisor’s billing schedules
  • Prepare for and compete monthly client billing and advisor payouts by working closely with Operations and Finance Departments (accounts payable)
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Onboarding, Operations and Technology Development to streamline a process and establish controls to automate the process so that we can support several hundred advisor relationships.
  • Assist leadership in developing financial analysis of individually advisor practices and support our Advisor Relationship / Practice Management teams
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in same/similar role(s)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Orion billing preferred
  • Prior management and leadership experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:Compensation (based On Experience)
  • Base salary: $75,000 - $90,000
  • Annual performance bonus target: 10% of base salary
