This position is responsible for shipping and receiving customer orders, picking items from the warehouse and packing them for shipment. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, preparing outgoing shipments and assisting in inventory audits. Our Warehouse Associates work in a fast-paced, busy environment where they must be able to maintain attention to detail as well as remain flexible in a constantly evolving role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to customers by fulfilling orders in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards.
• Moving and sorting goods and materials
• Picking, inspecting and packing products
• Labeling and boxing products prior to shipping.
• Continually stocking/unstocking locations
• Attending to and processing shipments
• Helping to complete shipments, process and load orders
• Reading, packing, and labeling orders and placing them in the proper delivery areas
• Preventing on-the-job injuries by maintaining cleaniness and safety best practices across all areas of the operation
• Participating in preventive maintenance activities
• Coaching and mentoring peers
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of packing and shipping procedures
• Reliable means of transportation
• Good knowledge of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
• Abilly to lift and carry up to 40 LBS
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment for long hours
• Ability to work on their feet for long hours
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to withstand warehouse weather conditions(hot summers & cold winters)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
