Sullivan, MaineThe RSU 24 custodian plays an essential role in maintaining the building and physical plant, and supporting a learning environment that promotes health, safety, attitude and pride of students and the school. In addition to regular custodial cleaning and maintenance functions, the school custodian provides direct support to classroom teachers in set up and maintenance of furniture and equipment. The school custodian also serves as a role model for students by displaying a professional, courteous, and helpful nature. RSU 24 is seeking an exceptional individual, dedicated to our students and staff, one who takes pride in their work and being part of our RSU 24 school community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with students and the ability to establish cooperative working relationships with staff. Job starts June 10, 2024, 2 pm - 10:30 pm, with on the job training provided. Day shift work available during summer break and school vacations.

Regional School Unit 24 serves nine communities along the Down East coast of Maine. The district encompasses picturesque coastal communities along Frenchmans Bay, Flanders Bay and the Schoodic Peninsula as well as inland communities surrounding our many ponds and lakes.
