Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, appliance repair, and property maintenance. If you have a strong background in refrigeration systems and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in refrigeration systems
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings for system repairs
- Provide field service for emergency repairs
- Weld, build, and boil refrigeration components as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Certification in HVAC or related field is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Experience:

• HVAC: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Suffolk County, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
