Role Description
In the role of Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for a wide range of daily maintenance tasks, spanning apartment upkeep, grounds maintenance, apartment cleaning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs. We're seeking an individual with strong problem-solving abilities who can effectively address maintenance issues. Collaboration with our management team will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
Principal Goals:
- Improve and maintain the interior and exterior appearance of our properties
- Improve tenant retention
- Provide maintenance service in a prompt, time-effective, and thorough manner
- Inter-organization communication
- Cultivate goodwill with tenants and owners
- Ability to thrive while working independently
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Proficiency in various maintenance and repair activities.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance processes and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues, tenants, and vendors.
- Experience with smart devices like iPhones and proficiency with applications such as Yardi is preferred, although we are willing to provide training to the right candidate who demonstrates the aptitude and eagerness to learn.
