Job Summary:

The Materials Manager will be responsible for providing management and direction for the materials used to complete production orders for larger company projects. The Materials Manager will work closely with production and purchasing departments to ensure material is routed through the production process and assist with providing projections on current material availability.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Monitors the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.

· Maintain the accuracy of material issued to production orders.

· Support the internal production order process through to delivery.

· Collaborate with internal teams to understand the material requirements that effect the production schedule.

· Analyze production build plan against inventory and supply chain data to determine demand for material replenishment.

· Manage internal delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive ahead of requirement date.

· Track and mitigate excess and obsolescent material.

· Obtain quotes from suppliers and submit purchase requests.

· Promotes and maintains a safe working environment.

· All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

· BA or BS required in business, supply chain, operations, logistics or related fields.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

· SAP knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
