Job DescriptionSealed Air is seeking a driven professional to fulfill our current opening for a Buyer. As part of our equipment purchasing group, the qualified candidate will play a vital role in materials procurement and cost reduction projects. The position interacts with manufacturing, quality, and R&D to address purchasing and supplier quality issues and support material requirements.
Responsibilities/ Duties

• Planning Reports and PO Placement
• Resolve PO receiving and invoice match errors
• Material Expediting of late PO’s
• Material returns to suppliers
• General procurement of MRO items
• Order Confirmation management
• Past Due PO Management
• Purchase Requisition Ordering
• Outside Vendor Management
• ECO Processing
• New Material Additions
• Cost Savings and STIP Programs

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related purchasing experience
• Knowledge of Visual ERP, Oracle and SAP is a plus
• BS Degree in Business or related field
• Demonstrated computer skills, MS Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Access
• Ability to work in a diverse fast paced manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and a quick learner (prefered)programs
