Shipping and Receiving Clerk
A local Streetsboro company is looking for a shipping and receiving clerk.
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $17 / hour
Work Schedule : Monday-Friday
Job Description :
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
They will collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
The clerk will track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. They will maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
The clerk will promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort and stock receivables. They will maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
The clerk will engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. They will provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer literate
Experience with forklift preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
