FOOD AND BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE MANAGER OUTBOUND STOWE
As Food and Beverage Experience Manager at Outbound Stowe, your passion for making sure that everyone is having a good time will parallel your passion for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences for our guests and the local community.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Food and Beverage Experience Manager, you will embody the Outbound brand as an authentic, approachable, adventure-curious, sociable, and savvy leader;
You will build and lead a team who exemplifies our values of fostering human connection, providing unique experiences, enjoying life outside, working hard to achieve our goals, all while valuing good people, good food, and good music.
You will be responsible for assuring attentive, friendly, authentic, and efficient service in all Food and Beverage experiences at Outbound Stowe including East Side Bar & Bites, Grab & Go Mercantile, Events, Banquets, and Exterior Experience Zones including pool, fire pits and pop-up spaces, while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead cost.
You will possess high levels of energy, creative prowess, and the ability to execute year-round experiences for guests and the community;
by activating physical spaces, creating meaningful collaborations with local artists and adventurers, and documenting the activations at the hotel to share with the world online.
SCOPE OF WORK TEAM
Maximizes food and beverage department profitability.
Takes the lead on executing property activities. Brings to life the shared vision of the team with the guided assistance of all operational teams.
Understands social media and creates original and brand-right images / content to be shared with a legion of passionate fans, working with both internal and external partners to produce great digital posts that give guests a heads up or share what they missed, through the voice of an Outbounder, and according to the social media framework (provided by the brand).
Ability to take good photos with a creative eye is a plus!
ONGOING EVERYDAY TASKS :
Financial Management : Oversees scheduling, food & beverage budgeting, ordering and supply inventory for food, beverage, events, entertainment, and catering.
Monitors and ensures all cashier and financial procedures are in accordance with accounting policies and standards.
Property Oversight : Tours and visually inspects the restaurant, bar, pool, firepits, event spaces, and all guest experience zones daily.
Monitors experiential touchpoints, cleanliness, and quality of product and service.
People Leadership : Demonstrates leadership through effective communication and interpersonal skills. Encourages trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Coaches and develops team members. Models appropriate behaviors and fosters a culture of excellence. Collaborate closely with front office, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue, marketing, and sales, managers and teams.
