Job Summary:

Responsible for preparation of hot and cold foods in North Dining. Including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of the food. Responsible for appropriate training of employees assigned to North Dining food production area. Responsible for the general upkeep, sanitation, and safe operation of all equipment and work area. Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position that will not have scheduled hours during the month of mid-May to mid-August, unless work is available. This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally. Exposure to hot surfaces, floor spills, chemical cleaners, operate electrical equipment, and use of sharp utensils. Noisy, sometimes hot work areas that are humid.

High School/GED. One year of food preparation work experience. Acquire Serve Safe after hire.
