Job Duties

• Program, set-up and operate CNC Milling machines; Okum, Mazak, Hurco, Milltronics
• Have experience programming using G&M Codes
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, techniques and practices
• Be able to work with little supervision
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures and machine attachments
• Use precision measuring instruments
• Inspect complete parts for conformance to quality standards
• Have solid blueprint reading skills
• Be able to control tolerances
• Have experience machining a variety of materials: tool steel, alloy steel, aluminum, plastics
• Have strong math skills
• Load and unload machine with overhead crane
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Experience with Gibbs CAM is a plus

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Outstanding communication ability in English
• Experience in reporting and using key production metrics
• High School degree; Skilled Trade School is a plus
• Self-motivated; able to work with little supervision
