LPN Correctional nurse needed in Sterling ,IL

Contract : 13 weeks

shift : 8& 12 Evening and Nights

Pay :$55/hr

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients while assisting with various medical procedures and treatments.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns
- Assist with patient assessments, including gathering medical history and performing physical examinations
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare techniques and self-care measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in IL
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in inhale, toddler care, dementia care, patient assessment, primary care, triage, medical-surgical, or sonography is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
