Hanon Systems is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Statesboro, GA

Description
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for scheduling and completing functional test in accordance with the customer's requirements. This person must have a good working knowledge of Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Vibration, and Corrosion testing of automotive assemblies. Must be able to begin and complete tasks with minimal supervision. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform testing on received and manufactured components
  • Perform calibration of lab equipment
  • Perform DV, PV and IP test based on yearly plan
  • Complete daily status reports
  • Support incoming tests
  • Repair or schedule repair of lab equipment
  • Assist other inspectors as necessary
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6-months Quality Control Experience preferred
  • Minimum a 2-year degree in a technical field of study required
  • Must have excellent mechanical abilities
  • Proficient Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Ability to develop test schedule and track results
  • Good communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Standing up to 5 hours per day.
  • Standing up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking up to 3 hours per day
  • Frequent bending, reaching with arms forward/above the shoulders.
  • Pushing / Pulling up to 20 lbs 1 hours per day.
  • Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify problems.
  • Etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Plant work environment with seasonal fluctuations in temperature (hotter in the summer, cooler in the winter)
