Family Health Care Center is Hiring a Medical Biller/Collector Near Statesboro, GA
The Medical Billing and Coding Specialist position is responsible for ensuring all medical claims are properly and timely processed. This position will require the successful candidate to remain updated on the most current coding and reimbursement policies in order to maximize revenue while staying compliant with billing regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare insurance and have a high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Record financial information.
- Transcribe medical terminology.
- Perform coding and billing.
- Apply mathematical knowledge to analyze data.
- Process insurance claims.
- Perform accounting work.
- Assess financial information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
