Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Director of Nursing for 4-6 weeks to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. The facility is with in an hour of State College PA

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate their schedules
- Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct performance evaluations of nursing staff
- Manage budgets and resources within the nursing department
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation review
- Experience in shift management and supervising nursing staff
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations
- Background in Assisted Living or Home Health settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals
