No Meat Factory is looking for two Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Stanwood, WA! This is a full-time position and requires flexible availability.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is a critical role in our food manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the functionality of all equipment and systems in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and possess a variety of technical skills including electrical, welding, and millwright experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase performance of the plant operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management about ongoing issues and solutions.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Conduct risk assessments before commencing with any maintenance work.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to understand their needs and help improve productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in food manufacturing is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Experience working with precision measuring instruments for accurate equipment adjustments.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) considered a bonus.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
• Ability to perform welding, fabrication or millwright duties as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Lifting of 50 lbs on a frequent basis required.

Core Working Hours

• The core operational hours are from 6:00am to 5:00pm.
• The schedule for this role will be Monday to Friday, 8 hours per shift to start.
• This role may become a 4 x 10 schedule in the future.
• Weekend availability required.
