Data Scientist - Python // R // Power BI // Analyst

My team here at Piper Maddox is partnering with a world leader in mobile modular power and energy services. They are committed to adding value in development, management and ownership of clean energy infrastructure. They are looking to build out their Data Science team and are in need of a Data Scientist to help them take the next step as a company.

This a very strategic hire for them, being the first data scientist within the organization. A chance to help build something very special! A Renewables Energy background will be required for this role, specifically in developer/ipp preferred!

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing data-driven insights to support varying projects and to help maximize the success of projects moving forward. You will be working within large data-sets, using statistical models to gain insights into cost trends and drivers. Furthermore, you will collaborate to identify data needs that will impact the organization positively.

Skills Required:

  • 3 years of experience of Professional Data science experience
  • Expert in in programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
  • Use of visual dashboards on a daily/weekly basis (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Background in Renewables Energies/clean energy companies with experience in prices drivers and trends
  • Familiarity with general software development like Docker and GitHub
  • Strong database experience with SQL
  • Great communication and analytical skills

Salary: $100,000 to $140,000 (based on associate to Managerial level) bonus benefits 401k health vision

Location: Remote US CITIZENS/GREENCARD ONLY
